Why G-market exchange rate is in USD and SGD ?
The real reason is Paypal's exchange rate. They do not have one of their currencies as Korean Won. A person's card is charged in USD and then when they (Gmarket) withdraw from their Paypal account it is converted into KRW at a really low rate
1st Payment (when placing order)
Total item cost in WON = Discounted Price +/- Option Price + Korea Domestic Delivery
Total item cost in SGD = Total item cost in WON * 0.0013 * 1.4
What you pay = Total Item cost in sgd + Pre-Collecting shipping fee from Korea to Singapore + handling fee + postage fee
2nd Payment(after goods arrived)
Top up or refund if necessary. (eg. Out-Of-Stock, excess/insufficient shipping fee)
7. After payment is made please email us your transaction details .
8 . After spree close , we will take about 2 to 3 days to consolidate the orders and place orders with G-market .
9. After placing orders with G-market, we will send you an email update regarding out of stock items
10. After placing order with G-market, we will need to wait for the items to reach G-market . this usually takes about 1 to 2 weeks depending on the number of orders and Korea Seller's speed .
11. When items are ready to be shipped out , we will send you an email update to notify you about which spree items are on the way
